On Saturday, July 18, at 2:30 p.m., Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock (UUFR), a church at 316 James Wharf Road in White Stone, will host a “Death Café.” An international social franchise begun in England, with chapters in 97 countries around the globe, “Death Café” has been featured in the New York Times, USA Today, and on National Public Radio. “Death Café” provides an opportunity to talk about a subject which folks have been socialized to avoid.

This is a casual dress, free event where all are welcome to attend, enjoy the refreshments and participate in the discussion or just sit and listen.

For information about the “Death Café,” see the Facebook page at facebook.com/deathcafe or on Twitter @deathcafe.
