Middlesex Chargers to take on Surry Cougars at Bristow-Boxley Field
The Middlesex High School (MHS) Charger football team will open its regular season on Friday, Aug. 28, at 7 p.m. against the Surry County High School Cougars on the Bristow-Boxley football field in Saluda.
The Chargers are coming off a 5-6 win-loss record last season. MHS made the regional play-offs last season, but lost in the first game, 46-14, to a powerful Northumberland High School football team.
