Over the years, individuals have stepped up in Middlesex County to save old structures that had generationally contributed to cultural and historical values in the county.
One such situation was when eight county men came together in 2008 to form the “Centenary Foundation” and purchased the 1883 Centenary United Methodist Church building in Saluda and saved it from a wrecking ball.
