Chargers set to host quad meet on Jan. 14

The Middlesex High School (MHS) wrestling team finished 14th at the Mathews Invitational High School Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 3, with Mathews winning the 16-team tournament.
The Chargers were paced by senior Andrew Harrow, who finished third in the 175-pound weight class winning three out of four matches and Dominic Snyder finished fourth in the 190-pound weight class with a 2-2 won-loss record.
The Chargers wrestled on Wednesday, Jan. 7, in a Northampton High School tri-meet with Northampton, Arcadia and Middlesex. MHS will compete on Friday, Jan. 9, in a dual meet against Dinwiddie High School and on Wednesday, Jan. 14, will host a quad meet with MHS, King & Queen Central, Westmoreland and Franklin. The home meet will start at 5 p.m. in the John S. Clements Memorial Gymnasium on the MHS campus in Saluda.
