A Saluda woman is dead after her car overturned and crashed into a tree in Gloucester County Tuesday.
The woman, Elle Wrenn Hartley, 20, died on impact when the 2015 Kia sedan she was driving struck a tree while southbound on U.S. 17 south of Ark Road at around 5:18 p.m., according to news release by Virginia State Police Sgt. Michelle Anaya. The Autrey Lane resident was the car’s sole occupant and no other vehicles were reported as being involved in the July 19 crash. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
