Urbanna Oyster Festival Queen contestant Makayla Seamster and her Little Miss Spat contestant Julianna Gobush will conduct a kayak/paddle board trash clean up at Rosegill beach in Urbanna at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 9.
Participants should bring their own kayaks or paddle boards, along with life jackets. Gloves and trash bags will be provided, and someone will come around and collect the trash bags afterwards. The closest access point to reach the beach is the Urbanna Town Marina.
They are working together to raise money for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
