Join Urbanna Oyster Festival Queen contestant Sarah Laster and her Little Miss Spat contestant Paisley Duke for a barbecue dinner fundraiser on Friday, Aug. 14, from 5-8 p.m.
Guests will enjoy a delicious menu featuring pulled pork, ribs, macaroni and cheese, and a variety of homemade sides and desserts. The dinner will be offered at the Deltaville Community Association (DCA) campus, located at 17147 General Puller Highway, Deltaville. Takeout meals will also be available.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Helping Hands program through the Middlesex County Department of Social Services. Helping Hands provides temporary financial assistance to Middlesex County residents facing unexpected hardships, including help with housing, utilities, covering the costs of CNA or CDL licenses, medical expenses, and other essential needs. To help people in Middlesex become more financially independent, the only requirement is that you have to be a resident of Middlesex County.
Sarah and Paisley each said they appreciate and thank you for your support and look forward to sharing a great meal while raising awareness and funds for this important community program.
