Middlesex High School junior Kinsley Horn of White Stone is experiencing success with “A Fresh Start — Hygiene and Confidence Initiative,” a student-led service project she created to provide essential hygiene products to children who may not always have access to them at home.
With personal ties to Lancaster County and her school life rooted in Middlesex County, Horn wanted her project to serve students in both communities.
Her goal was ambitious: collect and assemble 1,200 hygiene bags for students in Middlesex and Lancaster counties. With the support of businesses, churches, organizations and individual donors, Horn not only reached that goal — she exceeded it.
