Two highway roundabouts are planned for Twiggs Ferry Road (Route 3) about three miles from each other. One will be near Hartfield at the intersection of Twiggs Ferry Road (Route 3) and Stampers Bay Road (Route 630). The other roundabout will be in Mathews County at the intersection of Twiggs Ferry Road and Buckley Hall Road (Route 198).
Public hearings
VDOT will conduct a design public hearing on the proposed roundabout at Route 3 (Twiggs Ferry Road) and Route 630 (Stampers Bay Road) on Monday, Aug. 31, from 5-7 p.m. at St. Clare Walker Middle School at 6814 General Puller Highway in Locust Hill.
