Oyster Festival Queen contestant Katie Brooke and her Little Miss Spat contestant, Shannon Wilson, want people to “Go Green To Help Keep Middlesex Clean.”

For their project, they have designed a poster competition for current students from the 2019-2020 school year in grades pre-kindergarten through 12th grade who live in Middlesex County. Participants have to design a poster that shows how they are going to help keep Middlesex clean. The minimum poster size is 8.5×11 inches and the maximum poster size is 18×24 inches. On the back of their poster, participants have to write three to six sentences that describe what they drew, and how that helps keep the county clean.

Also, contestants are required to pick up trash in their neighborhood, street, or wherever they decide in Middlesex.

Make sure pictures are taken during the trash clean-up and send them to ggthkmc@gmail.com.

Posters will be judged…
