MHS wrestlers defeat K&Q at season’s only home meet

The Middlesex High School Charger wrestling team defeated King & Queen Central, 48-30, and lost to Westmoreland, 48-24, and to Franklin, 60-24, in a quad-meet on Wed. Jan. 14.

At the Chargers only home meet of the season, Dominic Snyder and Zach Dean had three wins and a pin each with Snyder winning in the 190-pound division and Dean in the 215-pound class.

The Chargers wrestled Mathews High School on Wednesday, Jan. 21, in a dual meet at Mathews and will participate in the Tidewater District meet at Mathews High School on Wednesday, Jan. 28…
