Low Country Boil proceeds address needs of these furry friends

In exactly one month on May 2, you can attend one of the highlights of spring in Middlesex County. Middlesex County Pet Friends for Life’s (MPFL) annual Low Country Boil, Festival for the Animals, is returning to the Deltaville Maritime Museum. This is a popular event so please get your tickets early.

Shrimp, crawfish, andouille sausage (optional), corn, onions, and potatoes prepared by our gourmet chefs, Megan and Rikki, make up the most delicious Low Country Boil. They’ll also have slaw, cornbread, various sides, and of course homemade desserts. One drink of wine, beer or soft drink is also included with your ticket. There will be a cash bar as well.

Music performers include “The Flat Tones,” who will get you up and dancing. Once again there will be a silent auction with treasures of all kinds. You can win some cash too with our 50/50 raffle.

Tickets are being sold at the animal shelter in Cooks Corner, Urbanna Trading Company, Hurd’s Hardware and the Deltaville Maritime Museum. Tickets are $75 each…
