The first place winners at Hartfield’s Piankatank River Golf Club May 25 Memorial Day Tournament are Pierce Lambert of Hartfield and John Thorsen of northern Virginia. The pair shot a 62. Hunter Hogge and Trevor Oyler were second (63); and Payton Lambert and Larry Collier were third (66). The random hat winners were Gavin Stone, Bill Puttman, Clayton Neal and Kyle Shelton.
The tournament was a “rainy success,” according to club spokesperson Yelena Palmer.
“Thank you to the 32 golfers who came out and played through the rain. It was truly a memorable Memorial Day,” Palmer said.
