The  Middlesex County Sports Complex, a 501c3 volunteer-operated community use facility opened in 1995 and lights were added to four of its fields in 2001 and 2002. Lighting for such facilities has improved dramatically over the past 20-plus years as well as the efficiency and operational costs.

The need to upgrade the complex’s field lights has been forced by the unavailability of repair parts and replacement bulbs. A planned new system will use LED lights and will offer both better quality of lighting as well as being less costly to operate.

The complex committee is offering naming rights for all fields at a cost of $25,000 per field payable over five years for a naming term of 15 years. There is also the opportunity to name the complex’s new pavilion at the rate of $15,000 payable over three years for a term of 10 years.
