Christchurch had been scheduled to take on Woodstock’s Massanutten Military Academy Colonels Saturday at Dischinger Field, but the game was canceled. The gridiron Seahorses have now completed regular season play and move into state playoff action.
Christchurch Athletic Director John Dehm announced that the gridiron Seahorses will host Covenant School (Charlottesville) in the first round of the Virginia Independent Schools Football League (VISFL) Division 1 State Semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 1 p.m. at CCS’s Dischinger Field on the school’s upper campus. There will be a charge for admission. CCS finished its regular season with only one loss against Virginia Episcopal School.
