The Piankatank River Ladies Golf Association hosted its annual Golf Invitational on Thursday, July 30, at the Piankatank River Golf Club in Hartfield.
This year’s theme was “Golf is a Beach” with a four-person team Shamble format. Twenty-five teams comprised of 100 women from surrounding and regional areas, as well as other golf leagues and courses, participated.
The competition, individual challenges, raffles, food and fun were organized by planning committee members Beverly Tate, Vicky Gunn, Chrystal Welch, Kay Stout, Kayce Turner, Michele Meanley and Christy Pitts.
