The Deltaville Deltas moved to 4-0 on the season with a pair of come-from-behind victories, defeating the East Coast Cardinals in extra innings last Tuesday and the Tappahannock Tides in front of a packed house Saturday night.
Now early in the season, the Deltas hold a slim lead in the Richmond National Adult Baseball Association (NABA) league standings, with a 3-0 lead mark pushing them just ahead of the 2-0 Richmond Trash Pandas and 2-1 Caribe Baseball.
The Deltas return home for a pair of home games this weekend. There will be Friday Night Lights at Deltaville Ballpark tomorrow night as the Deltas host the Richmond Avalanche. On Saturday, the Yorktown Coconuts come north to visit the Deltas. Both games start at 7:30 p.m.
