Congregants at Lower United Methodist Church (LUMC) at 120 Lower Church Road, Hartfield, invite everyone to join them this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. for their traditional worship service in their historic sanctuary. The Knights of Columbus, Council 11210, will host its 16th Italian Feast on Saturday, Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day, at Catholic Church of the Visitation at 8462 General Puller Highway (Route 33) in Topping.
Seating is at 5 p.m. The dinner will include homemade meatballs, made with pork, beef and veal, Italian sweet sausages, homemade sauce and penne pasta. Fresh Italian bread, salad and hand-grated Reggiano parmesan cheese will top off the food menu. Homemade desserts will complete the feast.
Red and white wine, coffee and tea will complement the meal.
Reservations are required and tickets are priced at $40 per adult, $5 for children younger than 12, and children younger than 5 years old are free. Takeouts will be available by pre-order.

Connect Women’s Ministry will welcome back Pastor Rosalinda Rivera, a gifted Bible teacher and speaker known for her practical and encouraging messages rooted in God’s Word. Pastor Rivera will share a Spirit-led message calling women to live faithfully and expectantly as they wait for Christ’s return.

On Saturday, March 28, the Zion Baptist Church Women’s Ministry will sponsor a bus trip to the Cowtown Flea Market in Pilesgrove, N.J.
The bus will pick up those going on the trip at Zion Baptist Church in Cardinal at 4 a.m. on March 28.
The bus will also pick them up at the Food Lion grocery store in Saluda on March 28 at 4:45 a.m.
The bus will stop at the Maryland House after leaving Saluda and at a Golden Corral restaurant on the way back to Saluda.
The total cost for the trip is $85.
A deposit has to be placed on the seat no later than Jan. 30. The final payment is due by March 1.
