Henry Fleet, Davonte Griffin pace Middlesex hoop boys
The Middlesex High School (MHS) basketball team had two Tidewater District wins last week defeating the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 72-35, and the Charles City Panthers on Thursday, Jan. 8, 81-36.
The Chargers jumped out to a 45-14 first half lead and coasted to its second Tidewater District victory. The Chargers are 3-1 in conference play and 4-3 overall in the win-loss column.
The Chargers played Rappahannock High School of Warsaw on Monday, Jan. 12, and Carver College and Career Academy on Tuesday, Jan. 13.
MHS is set to play West Point today, Thursday, Jan. 15, in away action…
