
Carolyn Extine of Walnut Hill Auctions is changing the way the Middle Peninsula thinks about auctions.
“A faded photograph sat tucked away in a trunk for generations — unseen, unknown. Until an auction brought it back to the family and where else but an auction could someone discover a photograph of a grandfather they had never seen?” said Extine, owner and auctioneer of Walnut Hill Auctions.
“Moments like that are why I do what I do,” she said. “But make no mistake — auctions are not simply about nostalgia. They are about strategy, value, and results.”
