Laura Ann Singh and Butterbean Jazz Trio members are set to give a free concert at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at Urbanna Baptist Church (UBC) at 121 Watling St. in Urbanna.
Singh is a multilingual American singer, recording artist, and composer associated with Brazilian popular music and Latin American boleros. She will present a program of sacred songs and works from her unique repertoire.
Joining her at UBC will be Butterbean Jazz Trio members, Rusty Farmer on bass, Lee Covington on keyboard and Scott Clark on drums.
