“It all started on June 14, 1975, and we’re pretty excited to celebrate the Opry exactly 50 years later!” stated Opry president, Lynda Smith. Smith, daughter of Opry founder, Jimmy Smith, was there for the first show and started performing the next year, at two years old.

The performers will offer their signature songs from the past as well as songs that pay tribute to stars of the Opry who are no longer with us. Be prepared to reminisce with songs from Patsy Cline, The Oak Ridge Boys, Tanya Tucker, Emmylou Harris and more, while also enjoying the new stuff by Jelly Roll, Zach Bryan and Cody Johnson.

This will be the first of two anniversary shows with the next on July 19.
