A free concert entitled “The Melodious Mystery of Math in Music” will be presented by a string quartet from the local Strings & Things network of musicians at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, at Urbanna Baptist Church at 121 Watling St. The quartet will demonstrate the ways that  numerical concepts like intervals, rhythms, and more, play an important part in the music folks love listening to. The concert will include a mix of classical, pop, ballads, and jazz; all with a mathematical twist.
