
Join Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 7:30 p.m. as it pays tribute to two of the best decades in country music – the 80s and 90s. This “Prime Country” show is back by popular demand and will be at Mathews High School’s Harry M. Ward auditorium. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
“These two decades truly had some of the best artists and songs in country music history,” stated Opry President Lynda Smith. Audiences will hear great music from stars of that era, including Faith Hill, Travis Tritt, Highway 101, George Strait, Brooks and Dunn, Garth Brooks, Suzy Bogguss and many more.
With Opry band and singers, William Earl Sadler, Richard Smith, David Shuber, Sam Hogge, Lynda Smith, Mike McDevitt, Mike Gregg, AJ McKeen, Ralph Motley, Susan Ripley, Tracy Hill, Faith Kemp, Shane Norris and guests, Ryan Babarsky, Hunter Owens, Colten Sadler and Austin Sadler, this is a show you don’t want to miss!
Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. They can be purchased in advance at the Mathews Visitor Center or Marketplace Antiques on U.S. Route 17 in Hayes, or at the door on show night starting at 6:30 p.m
