The Band From Misfit Beach recently raised some $16,500 for the Northern Neck-Middlesex Free Health Clinic, which serves Middlesex County, as well as Lancaster County. The funds were raised during a recent benefit concert at Tiki Windmill. Band members thanked Tiki Windmill and a very supportive Misfit member for their donations.
The band has helped raise almost $40,000 for area organizations this year.
The fun dance group will play from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, July 26, at Taber Park at 425 Bonner St. in Urbanna to benefit the Urbanna Second Saturdays community initiative. Admission is free, but proceeds from on-site sales of beer and Bold Rock apple cider will go to support the annual Second Saturdays program. All sales are cash only.
