
Robert E. “Robbie” Wilson III has filed to run for Urbanna town mayor in the Nov. 3 General Election, reported Melissa D. Welch, Middlesex County’s director of elections and general registrar. All of his paperwork is complete and he is a qualified candidate, she said.
Wilson is currently an Urbanna town councilor. If Wilson is elected mayor, steps would need to be taken to fill Wilson’s seat on council for the remainder of his term. Wilson took office on Jan. 1, 2025 and his term expires on Dec. 31, 2028.
