The Rev. Garry W. Garnett, of Shacklefords, was born Dec. 4, 1931.
He departed this life on Friday, Aug. 15, 2025.
He was the pastor of Metropolitan Baptist Church in the Samos/Water View community of Middlesex County.
The viewing is planned for 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22 at First Baptist Church in Hockley. The funeral service will be 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Service of comfort entrusted to J.K. Redmond Funeral Home.
