As a budget cut in the proposed fiscal year 2026-2027 (FY 26-27) budget, staff and the Middlesex County Board of Supervisors have been discussing the possibility of eliminating the Middlesex County Wetlands Board.
For the second time during FY 26-27 budget talks, Middlesex County Planning Director David Kretz was asked his opinion by supervisors on whether or not the county wetlands board should be eliminated as a cost savings.
