Order of the Daughters of the King chapter created at Christ Church

On Sunday, Sept. 14, the official chartering of the Order of the Daughters of the King, Betty Evans Chapter, took place at Christ Church Parish in Christchurch.

The Betty Evans Chapter was duly instituted in the parish, and 11 women were presented as candidates for membership.

The Daughters of the King is an order whose members take lifelong vows to follow a Rule of Life, including a Rule of Prayer and a Rule of Service. (Contributed)
