Middlesex County veterans are invited to Christ Church Parish’s annual Veterans Day celebration on Nov. 11 as the speaker will be Medal of Honor recipient and author Lt. General (Ret) Robert Foley.
The annual event is exclusively for Middlesex County veterans at the Christ Church Parish Hall, which can seat 104 attendees. The parish hall luncheon was filled last year, so veterans need to sign up early.
Lt. General Foley will discuss his book, “Standing Tall: Leadership Sessions in the Life of a Soldier,” which is about life, discipline, Vietnam and more at a lecture on Monday, Nov. 10, at Marston Hall at Christchurch School and a reception will be offered afterwards. He will speak again at the luncheon on Tuesday.
