One Community Under God (OCUG) is an annual gathering of Middlesex County citizens and visitors for a time of worship, music and fellowship. All are invited to join together on Sunday, Oct. 4, 11 a.m. at the Urbanna firehouse. A casual lunch will be provided after the service at noon. Adults, teens and children are all invited to attend and dress is casual.
OCUG has grown from four churches to 12 churches co-hosting this gathering. The churches are All Saints Anglican, Antioch Baptist, Calvary Baptist, Christ Church Parish, First Baptist Amburg, Grafton Baptist, Immanuel Baptist, Lebanon Baptist, Mount Zion Baptist, Saluda Baptist, Urbanna Baptist and Urbanna United Methodist.
Music will be a combination of congregational singing and musical groups. George Robinson and The Gospel Robins will perform. Beth Justice, Daniel Caskie and Bunny Dunlevy will join together to sing. Clayton Neal, George Robinson and Bunny Dunlevy will perform a medley of old Gospel songs.
