
Rev. Dr. Rodney D. Waller, the senior pastor of First African Baptist Church of Richmond, the third oldest African-American church in the United States, will be the keynote speaker at the Middlesex NAACP’s 21st annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast. The breakfast is set for 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2026 at the American Legion Post 82 meeting hall at 192 Watson Landing Road in Saluda.
Its theme will be “Honoring Our Past.”
Advance tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for those 11 and younger. Tickets will also be available at the door for $25 for adults and $20 for those 11 and younger. Proceeds from the Freedom Fund Committee event go to support the NAACP Middlesex County Branch’s community projects. Tickets are non-tax deductible and are non-refundable.
