Chargers get stung by Northampton Yellow Jackets, 49-14

The Middlesex High School (MHS) Charger football team (2-1, 0-0) lost its first game of the season Friday night at the Middlesex homecoming game as the Northampton Yellow Jackets defeated MHS, 49-14.

The Bristow/Boxley Field matchup started out in a jumble as the Chargers fumbled the opening kickoff and Northampton ran it back to its 10-yard line. On the next play Northampton fumbled and Cameron Hammond picked up the loose ball and ran it to the Chargers five-yard line…
