The Middlesex High School football team Christmas tree decorating committee won first place in the annual Urbanna Festival of Trees event Saturday at the Lansdowne estate. MHS football moms who were all smiles and who decorated the winning tree include, from left, Shannon Dean, Kelsey Briggs, Stephanie Foster and Stephanie Bowen.
The “star” at the top of the tree was a football wearing a Charger stocking hat.
The tree and other entries remain on display for folks to check out this week at 271 Virginia St. in Urbanna.
