A concert 30 years in the making, Mathews County native, Lynda Smith, and her band, Live Wire, will reunite for this special concert and relive the days when the group toured up and down the East Coast. Smith started the band in 1996, and the group was fortunate to headline some of the area’s biggest festivals and venues, and often opened for the top country artists of the 90s, including Toby Keith, Deana Carter, Jo Dee Messina, Ricky Van Shelton, Sawyer Brown, Lonestar and many others.

Although there were some lineup changes over the years, this core group features Lynda on vocals, brother, Richard Smith on drums and vocals, Jeff Long on keyboards and vocals, Jeff Abbott on lead guitar and Todd Mobley on bass guitar. Longtime sound engineer, Clyde Royals, will also be on hand, as he continues to run sound for the Opry.
