Nancy Berkley Carson of Saluda has written four children’s books that foster a relationship with God. Each of her books shares Christian morals and values in leading young readers towards a better life.In December 2024, Carson completed her first book, “Yesss, God!” Based on a simple, yet effective premise that she explains as, “It’s what you say ‘Yes’ to in life that directs your path. Say Yesss to God!”
Carson accepted Divine Guidance. “God has inspired me to write these books,” said Carson, who has completed five books. “I want to make a positive impact on the lives of children and bring them into a relationship with God.
“God is my inspiration, motivation and encourager,” she explained. “My books help spread God’s love and build His kingdom.”
Her books are unique and children love engaging with them, she added. For example, “The ABC” book is educational and leads the children to God.
“Almost all of my books include a child with a disability,” said Carson. “I want to honor and glorify God.”
The books are illustrated by Mindy Davis of Mathews. “Mindy intentionally leaves the children’s faces blank so the children reading can put their own faces in the drawings.”
Carson, of Saluda, said her books are great for homeschoolers, daycare centers, Bible school, birthdays, or anytime. They can be purchased at Gilded Crown Antiques in Urbanna or online at Amazon for $10 each.
Her latest book, “I am Unstoppable With God!” will be available on Amazon soon.
Her books include: “Yesss, God”; “Jump!, Jump!, Jump!, Jump for Joy”; “Stomp, Stomp, Stomp on Satan”; and “ABC’s of God’s Blessings.”
