On Friday, Jan. 22, at Piankatank River Golf Course, Hartfield’s John Matthews made a hole-in-one on the No. 5 hole at 87 yards with his 5 hybrid (iron-wood) club. He was playing a round of golf with his wife, Gloria Matthews. This is John Matthews’ third hole-in-one at the club and his second on hole number 5.
