Hartfield-based Piankatank River Ladies Golf Association members earned Virginia State Golf Association recognition at the Oct. 27 and 28 Gross and Net Stroke Play tournament.
Bay Creek Golf Resort in Cape Charles hosted the blustery and rainy day event. “Piankatank River Ladies Golf Association members persevered,” said the Piankatank River Golf Club’s Yelena Palmer, a spokesman for the event.
