On Thursday, Aug. 13, Hartfield resident R.D. Johnson carded the first hole-in-one of his golfing career. Johnson aced the 106-yard hole #14 at Piankatank River Golf Club in Hartfield.
Johnson used a gap wedge. His shot landed on the green about six feet behind the pin and spun back into the hole.
Johnson was playing with Mat Hawley, Brian Walton and Tom Hardin.
