Registration is open for the annual First Day of Fall Walk sponsored by Friends of Dragon Run. It will be offered in the woods of Big Island beginning at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22.
“Soon we will feel the refreshing approach of cooler temps, falling leaves, and migrating birds,” said a news release. “The time is ripe to walk the forest as it prepares to shed its summer raiment and rest for next year’s spring awakening.”
