Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry will kick up its heels on Saturday night, May 9, and take you back in time to the “good ol’ days” of country and rock and roll along with a tribute to the great Motown hits. The show will be at Mathews High School’s Harry M. Ward auditorium. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.

“Our Oldies shows are the most requested each year and this year, we are excited to be adding in a tribute to Motown Hits,” said Lynda Smith, Opry president. Be prepared to reminisce with songs from Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard, Gladys Knight and the Pips, The Ronettes, The Temptations and so many more!

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Mathews Visitor Center in Mathews and Marketplace Antiques on U.S. Route 17 in Hayes. Tickets are also available at the door on show night…
