This fall’s general election is set for Tuesday, Nov. 7.
The first day of in-person early voting at the Middlesex County Elections Office is Friday, Sept. 22. The office is located at 105 Bowden St. in Saluda. Voters do not need to give a reason for wanting to vote early. Call 804-758-4420 for information.

The deadline to register to vote or update an existing registration is Oct. 16. Any voter who registers after this date, through Election Day, will vote using a provisional ballot.
The deadline to apply for a ballot to be mailed to you is Oct. 27. The request must be received by the local election office by 5 p.m.
The Middlesex Elections Office will be open for early in-person voting on Saturday, Oct. 28.
Middlesex County offices, including the voter registration and elections office, will be closed for the Urbanna Oyster Festival on Friday, Nov. 3.
The Elections Office will be open for the last day of in-person early voting Saturday, Nov. 4, until 5 p.m.
