Dorenda Alcombrack entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021.
She was born in Arlington on Dec. 20, 1965 to Donald N. Shirah and Brenda A. Brown.
Dorenda was able to live as a child in Germany and Italy. Dorenda finally resided in her home in Middlesex County with her husband, William; and son, William Jr.
Dorenda is survived by her daughter, Temperance Bruder (John), and grandchildren, Mateo, Casey and Miloh; another daughter, Felycia McSwine, and grandson Jayden. She is also survived by a brother, Donald Shirah Jr. (Ann); two sisters, Lisa Cook (Jane), and Susan Frasier (James); and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at 13560 Jefferson Ave. in Newport News.
