The Middlesex High School (MHS) boys cross country team finished third in a tri-meet on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at home against King William and West Point. The Chargers home cross country course this year is a 5K (3.1 mile) route that winds through the MHS campus area.
The Cavaliers won the meet with 27 points, West Point, placed second, 38 points, and MHS was third with 59 points. Low score in cross country is the winner.
The Chargers were paced by distance ace Darius Jones, who finished third with an 18-minute, 13-second time. Allen Leonard was the second finisher for the Chargers in 11th place (21:21).
