The Middlesex High School (MHS) girls cross country team won a tri-meet Wednesday, Sept. 9, against West Point and Rappahannock high schools on the Lady Chargers home 3.1-mile cross country course.
The Lady Chargers won the meet scoring 28 points; West Point placed second, 34 points; and Rappahannock High School of Warsaw placed third, 58 points. The low score wins in cross country.
“I am incredibly proud of this team,” said longtime MHS girls cross country coach Jennifer Harrow. “This meet really helped build a whole new level of excitement across the entire team.
