Fun trip to casino is also coming up
The NAACP Middlesex Branch is excited to participate in the community-sponsored “Back-to-School Bash” at Camp Piankatank in Hartfield on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Please don’t forget your bathing suit and towel.
Hamburgers and hotdogs will be served. Come get your school supplies and enjoy yourself.
The NAACP Middlesex will also be conducting a casino trip fundraiser. They are providing a bus to and from River Casinos Portsmouth for $40 on Sept. 13. They will board the bus at 2 p.m. from the Food Lion parking lot in Saluda and arrive at River Casinos Portsmouth at approximately 3:30-4 p.m. They will leave River Casinos Portsmouth promptly at 9 p.m. to return to the Food Lion parking lot at approximately 10:30-11 p.m.
