Aubrey S. (Sonny) Glass Jr. of Water View passed away on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022.
Mr. Glass, born June 18, 1941, was the son of the late Aubrey S. Glass Sr. and Mary Clark Glass, who were from Nathalie.
Mr. Glass is survived by his wife, Linda Roark Glass; two sons, J. Darryl Glass (Pam) and David T. Glass (Dana); five grandchildren, Lauren G. Edmunds (JJ), Megan G. Lamar (Devin), Jonathan, Nathan, and Todd Glass; and three great- grandchildren, Easton and Cole Lamar and Tatum Edmunds.
Mr. Glass was a 1960 graduate of Halifax County High School and the Virginia Mechanics Institute. He retired from Philip Morris with 33 years service. He was a member of Hermitage Baptist Church and the Upper Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
Visitation is set for 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 9 at Hermitage Baptist Church, 94 Wares Bridge Road, Church View, with a celebration of life service set for 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10.
