Attorneys seek dismissal of Rosegill Village lawsuit

Attorneys for the respondents named in a lawsuit regarding the proposed Rosegill Village site plan have asked the court to dismiss the case.

The lawsuit alleges that more archeological studies need to be done at the proposed “Rosegill Village” development on the outskirts of Urbanna; and that there have been procedural errors regarding the site plan, which is currently under review by Middlesex County Director of Planning and Community Development Joyce Wolfe. By state law, Wolfe is the official designated agent to review site plans, including  Rosegill Village, which proposes 96 single-family homes and 24 multi-family structures.
