
Now in its 12th year, artists from along the East Coast will share their talents at the Arts in the Middle Spring Fine Arts Festival, set for June 6 and 7 on the grounds of the historic Hewick Plantation, 5123 Old Virginia St., just outside Urbanna. More than 70 juried artists will feature their work in a variety of mediums – watercolor and acrylic painting, sculpture, ceramics, textile art, glasswork, jewelry, metal work and much more. Admission and parking are free.
“We are pleased to attract some of the region’s premier fine artists here to Urbanna,” said AIM President Michael Kunzinger. “We take great pride in the quality of our exhibiting artists, some of whom have been with us since AIM’s inception.”
In addition to the art show, the Arts in the Middle (AIM) weekend offers something for the entire family. Fourteen bands and solo artists will perform on two different stages…
