A Feast for the Soul, Black History celebrated at Syringa center

‘A Feast for the Soul: Middlesex Celebrates Taste of Black History” program was conducted on Saturday, Feb. 28, to close out Black History Month.

The afternoon served as a vibrant multi-sensory celebration, blending culinary arts with a deep dive into African-American legacy. Syringa’s Freeshade Community Center was filled with the savory aromas of tradition and the powerful sounds of heritage, as the Game Changers of Middlesex hosted their “Taste of Black History” event.

A Culinary and Musical Journey

Attendees were treated to a literal “taste” of culture, with an impressive spread of 22 traditional African-American dishes available for sampling. As guests enjoyed the flavors, the air was filled with a series of high-energy performances…
